About
The HOPE Project is based in Portsmouth, UK – specifically in the inner-city areas known as Somers Town and Portsea. The project is funded by Portsmouth City Council and works out of the Kings Centre (which is the home of the Kings Church and a Sure Start centre) and aims to help young people between 7 and 11 excel in what they do by providing mentoring, behaviour support and family support. The project uses tools like music and video making to work with young people as well as working with individual children one on one.
The HOPE Project also works with older young people and has recently branched into using music and video with children up to the age of 16.
HOPE Portsmouth works in partnership with the following organisations:
HOPE Portsmouth is a registered company number 6040760 and a registered charity number 1119653.
